Several weeks after the infamous issues
between Tiwa Savage and Tee Billz, Mavin
pop star Dr Sid has given his side of the
story on allegations that he had a sexual
relationship with the Eminado singer.
Recall that on Thursday, April 28, 2016, Tunji
‘Tee Billz’ Balogun caused a major stir after
his now-deleted Instagram posts wherein he
revealed messy details in his marriage with
Tiwa, in addition to his allegations that she’s
had illicit affairs with Don Jazzy, Dr Sid and
Tuface Idibia.
In return, the Eminado singer granted an all-
revealing interview on Friday, April 29, 2016
wherein she spoke to Azuka Ogujiuba of
ThisDay and details from her revelation have
remained subjects of major debates both
online and in the media.

Things eventually cooled off between them
with Tiwa continuing her journey into further
musical greatness with a soon-to-be-
revealed music management deal with Roc
Nation and a US tour in promotion of her
RED album in July 2016.
In between, Dr Sid has spoken on the
situation and his response to allegations that
he had an affair with Tiwa is as real as it
gets.
In a recent chat with The Sun, the Surulere
crooner stated that Tiwa is a good friend of
his and a hard worker even as he hopes she
sorts out issues with Tee Billz.
He said:
“Tiwa Savage is, and will always be, a good
friend of mine.
“She is a hard worker. All we need to do is to
pray for them and hope that everything is
sorted out soon. Tiwa also said a lot in her
interview, so I am sure she has cleared the air
on that. On my own, my wife and I are good.
Everybody is fine.”
Dr SID has had an interesting music career,
first starting off with foremost hip hop group
Da Trybes under the tutelage of eLDee The
Don in the ‘90s into the early 2000s and
then joining forces with the defunct Mo’Hits
Records under Dbanj and Don Jazzy.
With the fall out between Don Jazzy and
Dbanj in 2012, SID continued with Jazzy
under the new Mavin Records imprint and
it’s been a fun ride seeing the singer and
songwriter churn out hit after hit in the ever
evolving Nigerian music industry.

positively received since making the switch.
