Celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji has in the
course of doing her job stepped on many
celebrities’ toes. The concerned celebrities
have also in turn taken their anger out on
her with the latest being Wizkid.
To show their anger, a host of celebrities
like Davido and Olamide are supporting
Wizkid in his messy fight with Ikeji over his
Lekki home eviction story Ikeji wrote.
Naij.com presents a list of celebrities who
have attacked Linda Ikeji over the past
years
1.Wizkid

Wizkid
For Wizkid and the celebrity blogger Linda
Ikeji, it has been a back to back fight over
stories Ikeji wrote about the Afro pop singer
which he feels is affecting the Wizkid brand.
He had called for a meeting between the
two of them to resolve issues but Ikeji
turned him down.
The first time they had issue in 2016 was
when Ikeji broke the news of Wizkid’s
second baby mama Binta Diallo giving birth
to the star boy’s alleged second son.
The two fell out again when Linda broke the
story of Wizkid’s eviction from his Lekki
home, which he claimed to own. Wizkid will
not take this easy as he went on to say dirty
things about the celebrity blogger.

clashed with Linda Ikeji in 2012 when she

wasn’t a role model or one to be followed.

She’s a gossiper, She sells gossip” said Toke
Makinwa. The blogger clapped back with a
long and detailed post of how she has never
had slept with men just to get ahead in life.

her not to post his music material without
his permission.

dares put my song on the internet for
free!,where was Linda Ikeji when I was out
with my first album, Linda Ikeji who are you, I
don’t even know her, Linda Ikeji if you are
expecting a dime from me, fa fa foul, You pay
me before you upload my music.”

4. Pastor Chris Okotie

The Household of God church pastor, Chris
Okotie in 2013 tasted the bitter pill of Linda
Ikeji’s gossip when she wrote that Pastor
Chris supports Christians having tattoos. She
earned the wrath of the pastor who released
a press statement that the blogger uses her
blog platform to promote satanic agenda
through falsehood.
Pastor Chris Okotie said:
“As you read this, a causal remark made by
Rev Okotie in response to a parishioner’s
question on the propriety of Christians having
tattoos was twisted to portray the man of God
as endorsing the untoward practice. One Linda
Ikeji used her blog to promote this falsehood
When a refutal was sent to her, she refused to
publish it because invariably it would call to
question the credibility of her medium which
enjoys considerable following because it is
one of those mills whose offering is consumed
by the gullible public.
In a craze to stay popular on the web and
maintain a huge following, bloggers like this
often do not bother to ascertain the veracity of
stories before publishing.
They get away with this professional
misconduct because they are not bound by
any ethical standard; all they care about is
money made from inflicting untold injuries on
the integrity of credible citizens.
This is the down side of the social media. But
ultimately, purveyors of falsehood do not last
because conscience is an open wound that
only truth can heal. You may fool the people
some of the time but you cannot fool them all
the time.
One day monkey will go to the market and will
not return, is a local adage. That should be
the consolations for victims of the social
media mob like Okotie and others who are
suffering in silence .The days of the jackals
are surely numbered.”

be too busy & successful to spread unfounded
