So what really is the life of a star?
Life of a star basically is all what we go
through as an artiste; we might be having a
bad day but still show up at events like
everything is alright because we are public
figures and we must always represent our
fans so well. The life of a star is not
predictable, people thing all is always well
with us at all time but they don’t understand
the fact that we are human too forget the
celebrity status attached to it.
What inspires your creativity generally?
Like I said, my music is usually a reflection
of my life because I each time I want to
record a song; I go down memory lane to
where I was coming from; the street, my
environment and every situation I find myself
in. I am equally an online person and I play a
lot; so at times I put my hobby and
character into my music.
What your most annoying daily routine?
For me, the most annoying routine is waking
up so early at times because I like to sleep
well; I sleep so late at night especially when
I have recording to do and at the point of
me enjoying my few hours of sleep,
schedules will come in that I have to be at
some places at a particular time and I be
like ‘can you guys give me more hours to
sleep.

How long does it take you to get prepared
for an event?
It takes me a while because I am a last
minute person, who does things at the very
limited time. It’s when am set to leave that I
begin to think of what to wear and all that.
In all fairness, it takes me less an hour to
dress up.
Are you designer freak?
Not at all, but if it looks good, I might get
one.
Will you patronize made in Nigeria
materials?
Yes I do, I patronize the very few ones that
makes natives and design shirts, palm
sandals and all that; I am a Nigerian I
respect and love good creative piece. Even
though I still make few shopping overseas, I
encourage home-made materials too.
What is your take on beefing in the
entertainment industry?
I don’t understand it, for me this year has
been so funny, as the level of beef is so
high. It’s like they are just importing more
cows into the country. For me I don’t think
beefing or hating on your fellow colleague is
necessary but I think the social media is
doing the most part of it because a lot of
people get to talk nonsense and contribute
in other people’s business. But come to
think of it, Nigerians are bored and suffering,
no water, no light, no fuel; if what is good or
bad about celebrities is what is making them
happy, then they should keep it up.

Will you put your family matter on social
media?
Never, you can’t even know my family or see
me around because I am a very private
person and try as much as possible to stay
out of controversies. I am always home
when I have not nothing to do.
What is your relationship with Pepenazi?
He is like a brother and part of YBNL family
even though he signed on Ecflectic record,
he is a good dude with a lovely spirit. I want
him to know he has the back of another
