R Kelly is currently being held at the Federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago, US, on federal sex-crime charges. His next court date has been set for April 27, 2020.

According to TshisaLive, among the charges the singer faces, are one for engaging in prostitution with a minor and another for soliciting a minor for sexual purposes. The 52-year-old hit-maker, faces four sets of state and federal sex-crimes charges but has denied the allegations,

R Kelly appeared in court this week when a woman, who posted N33.7m bail for him in February, appealed for the money to be returned to her. The judge however, denied the request.
